My neighborhood is full of trees and mansions, Pratt institute is located across the street. You can bike to multiple parks are have a picnic at Pratt in the garden that is surrounded with modern statues. Restaurant of all sorts is just walking distances from the apartment. Enjoy a cup of coffee at a local cafe, bakery or just stop in into Starbucks which is 1 block away. Train commute is 15mins into lower Manhattan, you can also rent a citibike which is in front of the apartment.

You have an array of shopping options farmers markets, local vintage stores , boutiques and major retailers just walking distances from the apartment.
