North Vancouver Homestay Host # 4811

I have a 6 year old daughter that I would like to expose to different cultures and traditions. We enjoy getting out and doing different things, no one thing in particular. We live in a townhouse on a dead-end street. There are apartments across the street, however, the neighbourhood is usually quite quiet. It is close to Capilano College, bus and within walking distance to shopping / transit and many local attactions. As I have not done this before, could you please advise accurate rate. I have a mid-size bedroom with a closet, dresser, single bed, desk & chair, sling back chair, bedside table with lamp & digital alarm clock/radio, full length mirror, small TV with cablevision and DVD player. There is internet in the house, but not in the room. There is also a printer/photocopier available as well.

We would like to have international students make our home their home during their stay in Adelaide. We have a big home including a pool were close to public transport and we are only 7.5kms to the middle of the city. Gym, Sports, BBQs with friends and family, walking our dog. Coles supermarket is in walking distance, The bus to the city runs down Prospect Road and Churchill roads. 7kms to Adelaide Uni, on North Terrace. 3kms to Regency TAFE.

Vancouver Homestay Host # 8373

We know friends who have had the pleasure of being a host family to international students. They have told us what a great experience it was and still is for their family. Not only do the students learn about life in Canada but my friends also learn Our family enjoy a variety of activities such as swimming, playing soccer, bike riding, skiing, golfing and skating. The location of our home is very accessible to many different amenities. A grocery store is 1 block away. A community center and public library are 2 blocks away. We are 3 blocks away from the Expo SkyTrain line so it only takes 15 minutes to get downtown plus going to MetroTown Burnaby, New Westminster, and Surrey is convenient. Going to UBC and BCIT from our home only takes 1 bus and the bus stop is 1 block away. The Millenium SkyTrain line is easy to get to and thus, going to SFU is convenient.

Expo Sky Train line is 3 blocks away and the station is Nanaimo. Bus stop is 1 block away. Millenium Sky Train line is very convenient to get to and the station is Renfrew.

Port Coquitlam Homestay Host # 6836

My cousin and his wife are hosts and I find it very fascinating to learn about the cultures of the students that stay with them. I would love to give students the opportunity to come here for schooling and to see our culture and our beautiful city o Baseball, soccer, Swimming, gymnatstics (For the Kids). We like to take the family on walks and to the park. The bathroom is only shared with 1 person (My husbands Mother) and there will be an area for the student to store their bathroom things in the bathroom. The student will pretty much have a whole ground floor above ground basement suite to themselves with a couch and loveseat, Kitchen, Kitchen Table, outside patio area and private bedroom. The TV is in the main area of the above ground suite and will only be shared every once and awhile with my mother-in-law. For the most part my mother-In-Law is upstairs in with us as she is our daughters Nanny while my husband and I are at work. The student would have the entire above ground basement suite to themselves every weekend as my Mother-In-Law leaves every weekend. The computer/Internet is upstairs and the student would have access to it. We are able to provide the student with 1, 2 or 3 meals.

Halifax Homestay Host # 8214

My family would like the experience that the homestay program offers. We are both mature university educated adults who believe this cultural experience is important for internation students. My girlfriend has a lot of experience tutoring internati Investing, Nature, Travel Good quiet neighbourhood, Close to shopping and other desirable locations. The ocean is a couple minutes from the house with provincial parks also within minutes from the location. Bus terminal is within walking distance.

The mainbus terminal is very close Our home is very spacious and newly painted. Some of the features of this home are; a room dedicated for study, 2 living rooms fully furnished with complete entertainment systems (big screen tvs, computers), a large fenced backyard, 2 bathrooms. We have one of the friendliest english bulldogs anyone has ever met. We both have university degrees and are very engaging friendly adults.

Burnaby Homestay Host # 1648

To learn new culture. It is like having to visit poeple around the world without leaving your home. cooking, walking in the park and window shopping We are centrally located between kingsway and central boulevard. Its a very quiet neighboorhood. Easy access to skytain. On the north side of our house is the Central Park connected to Swangard Stadium. On the South side 2 block from our house is the Burnaby public library ad 4 block from our house is metrotown mall and 1 block east is the kingsway ave. Our home is a two bedroom townhouse and very near at the skytrain station. Very convenient.
