Brisbane Homestay Host # 6866

I have travelled and previously worked for a multi-national organisation overseas. I miss the opportunity of interacting with other cultures and would love for my daughter to learn a similar appreciation. Going to parks, bushwalking, gardening, reading, studying, travel, spending time with family The neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful. Our house is in a cul-de-sac which means there is little traffic. Whilst quiet, it is a short walk to local shops and the main roads for buses. There is a bus stop less than 100 metres away that takes you to Petrie Train Station which is a major transport hub that offers express trains directly into the city. Buses can also take you to large shopping centres and cinema complexes very close by. A very nice room all of your own. There is a double built in wardrobe, bedside tables with lamp and alarm clock and a desk and chair will be put in the room as well. We have a spare TV in the house that you can place in the room if you like. The bed is a double bed with a pillow top mattresss.

We enjoy learning about new cultures and in turn would love to show our international guests what Vancouver, and Canada is really about. We are kind and considerate people that always treat guests as if they were family. In the summer, we love to take our boat out on the ocean or to the lakes. In the winter time, we love to head up to the mountains for some snowboarding. We also enjoy making music and have a small home studio. Downtown Richmond, quiet neighbourhood, very close to bus stops, 2 blocks from Richmond Centre Mall and new skytrain station from Richmond to Downtown Vancouver. 10 min. from Vancouver International Airport. Very convenient area, close to all ammeneties. i.e. restaurants, Kwantlen College, multiple shopping malls, schools, and public transit stops.
